Over three intense days, all partners of the SMASH – Journalistic Theatre for Social Media Action against Hate Speech project shared their unique methodologies during an international mobility in Vilnius and Panevėžys, Lithuania.

💥 The experience was a real whirlwind of activities and trust-building games that will serve as a foundation for future SMASH workshops. The sessions also tested out exercises focused on understanding the phenomenon of cyberbullying, rooting it in real and local contexts.

💡 We explored how digital narratives shape (and sometimes distort) our perception of reality, while also acknowledging the benefits of social media. The Critical Incident Methodology was tested, highlighting the transformative power of storytelling. A strong emphasis was also placed on facilitation techniques and empowering young participants to become protagonists of their own narratives.

🎭 The event was a unique opportunity to co-create a shared methodology from the rich diversity of partners, blending formal and non-formal education, theatre, process-oriented psychology, and academic approaches.

🤝 A cohesive mix of games, exercises and perspectives that pushes us forward in building a powerful educational response to fight and transform online hate speech.

Thanks to all the amazing partners who made it possible:
