FUNDACIÓN ARC – XAMFRA

4.png

Xamfrà is a project from L'ARC Foundation. It was born because we do not want to live in a segregated society in spaces that are impervious to each other, and where inequality in access to opportunities places many people at risk of exclusion. Because the impermeability between social groups creates a map of defined borders, contact between which may create indifference, mistrust, and even violence. Because the universal declarations of human and cultural rights identify access to continued artistic and cultural practice as a necessary right to guarantee the dignity of all people.

Xamfrà wants to welcome everyone, to generate processes of communal cultural development, to create training and employment opportunities for young people, to contribute to moving away from social situations of violence and indifference, creating conditions and climates that evolve towards coexistence. Xamfrà guarantees the fulfilment of the universal right to artistic practice. Xamfrà has strong values as generosity, commitment, permeability, trust, and cooperation. In order to be a driving force that generates communal cultural development, we need to be aware of all the opportunities that come our way, to promote co-participation and collaboration between people, entities, and institutions. Xamfrà works:

  • Creating shared artistic spaces, including all types of audiences, providing educational accompaniment, networking, and much more.

  • Facilitating and promoting access to artistic practice for people of all ages, with special attention to people and groups at risk of social exclusion.

  • Committing ourselves to the educational and artistic accompaniment of children, young people, and families, with special attention to those at risk of social exclusion.

  • Weaving networks together at all levels because we understand networking as an attitude, a continuum of proactivity to generate opportunities for participation and collaboration.

  • Guiding initiatives that want to work towards social and educational equity through artistic practices.

  • Advancing in social co-responsibility to make the initiatives that guarantee access to artistic practice for everyone sustainable.

Respect Zone

2.png

Respect Zone is a non-profit association governed by the French law of 1901, working since 2014 to promote responsible freedom of expression and youth protection. We use law and education to positively address these societal issues. Our dynamic team, composed of both employees and volunteers, works with actors from across the field (the ministry of National Education and the school system, sports, cultural community youth centers, digitally connected social centers, businesses, etc.) to initiate dialogue on the use of digital tools and raise awareness on cyber-violence, cyber-bullying, and online hatred. In line with the legacy of major battles for the acceptance of differences, the association aims to establish the notion of digital dignity while developing positive prevention tools such as the Respect Zone label and charter.

DANILO DOLCI

6.png

The Centre for Creative Development Danilo Dolci – ETS is a non-profit organisation whose history is deeply connected with Danilo Dolci’s social and educational work. We work in the educational and social fields to promote communities' creative and nonviolent development by using participative methods. We aim to build an environment where everyone can fully and creatively contribute to society. Our work stems from the following principle: no real and sustainable change can be achieved unless we involve the community and the people for whom we conceived our interventions. Thus, we start processes aimed at identifying the community's needs and desires and co-design bottom-up interventions. We pursue our mission by implementing projects and initiatives at local, national, and international levels and by identifying synergies and cooperation opportunities with schools, universities, institutions, organisations, and the whole community. Our Centre has over 20 years of experience in managing national, European, and international funds, such as Erasmus+, AMIF, Creative Europe, CERV, EYE, ISF CSEP, ENPI CBC MED, and EuropeAid. It relies on a team of 15 employees and more than 40 volunteers, experts, and collaborators. We work with a network of more than 25 schools, universities, and local organisations, as well as over +300 partners from 50 countries.
